Hot Summer Nights at West Point Auto

Gear up for Hot Summer Nights at the West Point Automotive Skills Center!

Auto is open until 8pm for self-help and NYS Inspection Appointments on the following Fridays: July 12^th, 19^th, & 26^th, and August 9^th, 16^th, & 23^rd.

SPECIAL EVENTS AT AUTO:

• July 12^th, 4:30pm-5:30pm: Hot Summer Nights Kick-off event

Enjoy pizza, giveaways and a raffle!

• July 26^th, 5:30pm-7:00pm: Teen Car Care Class (Ages 15-19)

Bring your teen and learn about the fundamentals of car care! Teens under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $20 (includes teen and adult).

• August 16^th, 5:30pm-7:00pm: Ladies Night

Come learn how to care for your vehicle! Cost: $15.

For both the Ladies Night & Teen Car Care Class, the first 30 min will be a shop safety class. All participants receive a shop safety card. Topics covered include checking fluids, battery, & tire pressure; changing oil & flat tires, roadside safety, jumpstarting a battery, and replacing light bulbs, wiper blades, & air filters.

Demonstrations will be done on shop vehicle. Mechanics will be available afterwards for Q&A.
